I specialize in play therapy with children and families focused on emotion regulation. I also specialize in working with teens, and adults in their 20s-40s. I want to help you find your way during this transition, in your identity, career, intimate relationships, and emotional development. Therapy can help to guide you along this very important journey. I enjoy applying creative therapeutic modalities to my practice, such as: mindfulness, art therapy, and play therapy.

I received my PsyD and MA in Couple and Family Therapy with a certificate in Infant and Preschool Mental Health from the COAMFTE-accredited program at Alliant International University, Los Angeles. I also have specialized training in Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Mindful Self-Compassion, Yoga, Infant Preschool Mental Health, and Play Therapy.

You are the expert in your own experience, so our work together will be collaborative, creative and customized to fit your unique needs. I strongly believe that we are all doing the best we can with the knowledge and resources we have in the moment. We can’t do better until we know better, so I’m here to support you as you learn, grow, heal and discover what "better" is for you. In addition to working with adults, I have a passion for helping children and adolescents navigate their emotions and improve their mental health through empathetic listening, providing psychoeducation, and building social-emotional skills. If traditional talk therapy isn’t the right fit for you or your child, that’s okay! I have experience in play and art therapy too.

I received my MS  in Counseling Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy Specialization from Mount Saint Marys University.

I work with clients across the lifespan as they navigate life’s difficult transitions, stress, and trauma through a space of curiosity and connection. Drawing from psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks, I help clients explore the deeper roots of their pain while building confidence to live more freely in the present. I guide caregivers and children in restoring safety and security after complex experiences, emphasizing the emotional bond as a pathway to healing. My goal is to provide a nurturing environment where families and individuals can repair, reconnect, and grow.

I graduated from Alliant International University in Los Angeles with an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also have specialized training in Child Parent Psychotherapy, and working with families who have experienced, grief, trauma, and intimate partner violence.

I am a proud second-generation Mexican American, born and raised in the Big Sky State of Montana. I moved to the Los Angeles area over ten years ago to feed my sense of exploration and reconnect with my family, culture, and self. My early life experiences, including the sudden death of my mother during childhood, have shaped me into the person I am today and fueled my drive to pursue a career in mental health.

My approach to therapy is rooted in curiosity and collaboration. I value active and patient listening that allows for reflective thought processing throughout each session. My specialty is finding and distilling themes and throughlines that allow for context and understanding of experiences. I respect and honor your journey and recognize innate resiliency that led to where you are today. Together, we can explore creative adjustments to process and unpack trauma as well as everyday life transitions, struggles, and expectations.

I received my Master’s degree in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University. I am currently enrolled in the Sport and Performance Psychology Certificate Program at Dominican University of California.
